The Bigger Vision

Once upon a time, this ministry was merely a thought, which blossomed into an idea. From that idea, it has grown into what it is today. Throughout this period of growth, the grand vision for this ministry has remained steadfast: a larger tract of land for cows, horses, sheep, an ostrich, and many other animals; a forest for exploration, hunting, camping, and finding solitude and peace; more space to offer a wider variety of classes, both indoor and outdoor. A significant part of this ministry is our love for people and fostering community. With additional land, we aim to provide creative options for overnight stays and retreat hosting. The vision extends to increasing our chicken and beehive numbers to boost egg and honey production for sale or donation.

Reflecting on the past few years fills me with amazement at what God has accomplished through this ministry, and I eagerly anticipate where He will lead us next. In 2023, Soaring Chicken Farm Ministry partnered with four different schools, offering various classes that reconnect children and adults with our food sources. We teach that by observing the resources God has given us, we can see His craftsmanship and the purpose in all His creations. We've been graced with multiple volunteers who dedicate their love, time, and effort to the farm weekly, enabling its continued growth.

As we aim higher, we seek prayers and assistance in the following areas:

* Continued search for land, trusting God to reveal the next place for our growth

* More teachers to support the expansion of our classes and summer camp instruction

* Fundraising efforts

* Assistance with grant applications

* Financial support

* Beekeeping suits

* Funds for animal care and land acquisition for expansion
