Our volunteers play a huge roll in our farm ministry. If you want to learn about farming, bees, God & nature-then you've come to the right place. We love our volunteers, and much of our daily chore list is completed by individual and group volunteers working side by side. We rely on a team of volunteers to help with the daily task list, as well as miscellaneous jobs that arise. If you have a specific skill or gift that you would like to offer be sure to indicate that on your application.

The Construction & Infrastructure Volunteer will be a crucial part of our team, helping to build and improve key structures across the farm. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a passion for building, a knack for problem-solving, and a desire to see a project from start to finish.
Time: Around Dusk (Approx. 1 hour) Frequency: 7 nights a week (Seeking one person or a small team to rotate)
As the sun sets, our farm needs a dedicated "Closer" to ensure all our animals are fed, accounted for, and safely tucked away from predators. This is a vital role in keeping our ministry animals safe and happy!
Time: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM+ (Daily/Flexible)
Are you a morning person who loves fresh air and animals? We are looking for a reliable individual to lead our herd of 3 goats to their morning graze. This is a peaceful, active role perfect for someone who enjoys nature and the company of animals.
If you love working with children, love being outside, and want to excel in your team building, and leadership skills this position is for you. Have fun leading one of our popular Farm or Wilderness Summer Camps -organizing games, crafts, hikes, nature exploration and so much more- training provided. Dates TBD
Love Our Mission? Help Us Grow! (Fundraising Volunteer)
The Mission: We are looking for a creative "People Person" to help us secure the future of our farm ministry. As we work on land restoration and expanding our youth programs, we need someone to help bridge the gap between our needs and the community’s generosity.
Share the Story of Soaring Chicken Farm Ministry
The Mission: We have amazing stories and testimonies happening every day—from new beekeeping classes to goats on the hillside—but we need help sharing them with the world! We’re looking for a digital-savvy volunteer to help us grow our online presence.
Learn about beekeeping, and the life cycle of a bee. Assist with hive checks, feeding the bees, checking the health of the hive, bee behaviors and harvesting/processing honey.
Learn and assist with soil health, regenerative agriculture, cover crops, plant diversity, permaculture, vermicompost and self sustainability
Learn and assist in the ins and outs of growing your own food, seed planting and care, plant maintenance and pest control. Learn about harvesting food, dehydrating and other preservation methods.
Help care for chickens, pigs and goats. Jobs would involve cleaning out pens and coops, collecting eggs, goat milking, goat hiking, and lots of love.
Our ministry offers different opportunities to serve and engage with children of different ages.
Learn and participate in wilderness survival activities, foraging, sustainable living, and growing your own organic food
Interested in becoming part of our volunteer team? We would love to see if you would be a good fit. Please fill out our Volunteer Application & Waiver below. Once completed, please email Christina@SoaringChickenFarms.com
